Caring for the Weak.
He sat on the motorcycle, tucked between his grand-daughter and the cyclist. I contemplated his frame. He appeared frail but well-groomed. He held his walking stick on his laps, his grand-daughter supported him from behind.
I watched as the motorcycle roared past and smiled a little. Somewhere in the recesses of my soul, I blessed that young girl.
The weak ones among us are more in number than we think. They are not necessarily our grandparents. A weak person is anybody who needs your help to get by. The help they need may be physical support, material support, emotional support, spiritual encouragement, the gift of your presence, a kind smile….
