14 Jan Letter to my future wife
Letter to my future wife.
Hello my future wife. I don’t know where you are, whether you are white or black, brown or red. But I hope you are cute and classy with grace and poise. I don’t really know whether you’re tall or short light or dark, but I’m sure I’ll recognize you when we meet. I’ve decided to wait and be confident that you’ll arrive in time, though people around me say I’m taking the issue lightly and want me to go out and hunt for you. But I have the strangest feeling that I’m meant to be calm and watch for you to turn up. And besides, I’ve been praying for you for a real long time, so I don’t think I should allow my heart to be stampeded.
Wherever you are, I hope your heart is at rest too, and that you’re confident and happy, that you’re close to God and you’re assured of who you are in Him. I guess you’re probably busy with whatever it is you’re doing, but I wonder whether you sometimes pause like I do; to think of when we shall meet, and whether you feel the loneliness too. Hold on and be strong, the time is almost here.
When I think about you, I imagine a woman who is smart and trendy, an elegant and graceful being with poise and carriage of a queen. I hope you are vivacious and cheerful, not because you have no problems or unsolved issues, but because you have complete trust in God’s goodness and His ability to make everything alright.
When I see you in my mind, I see a polished lady, with impeccable manners and utmost courtesy, who gives regard to all and has no iota of arrogance or conceit. I see a woman who a loving character, with a heart that showers kindness on everyone that comes in contact with you. I also see a fighter who has indefatigable zeal and utmost determination to realize her ambitions no matter how rough the road may be. And who can never be intimidated by any obstacle.
I picture you as a woman of great wisdom, with the ability to understand situations and see beyond the present and a source of life-giving counsel. I marvel at your willingness to learn and grow each day, and I pray that God grants you a love of adventure, and courage to take on your biggest dreams.
I have a lot more things to say, sweetheart, I’ve been thinking about you for a very long time. But I will stop now and tell me more when we meet. I don’t know when we shall meet dearest, but I feel within me that it shall be soon. Till then, keep holding on and know that I’m thinking and praying for you always.
Your future husband.
